Towing with 4" rear blocks?

I just put a 6" lift on the truck. The rear has a 4" block, add-a-leaf, and a 1" zero-rate-type of block and is running the stock tires for now. Can I expect to be able to tow the same amount of weight with the 4" block as I did when it was stock?

I towed way more weight after I lifted my K5 with 4" blocks, shims, and an add-a-leaf then I did when it was stock.

Lots of 3/4 and 1ton Dodges have factory blocks under the rear springs. My '98 3/4 ton Dodge does. should only add to the tendency for axle wrap, not affect load capability.

Thanks for the replies. I was mainly checking to be sure the blocks wouldn't fall out from sideways forces when turning. I think a lot of the older Fords have 3" factory blocks, too.

It sounds like it should all work out fine.

I have them torqued to 110 ft lbs right now. The directions said 100 to 120. I still need to drive it and re-torque them.
