Search is your friend. This has been covered several times. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The answer is yes with some "but"s. There is a LOT of info in the back posts, do a search here, on the 73-91 board, and on the garage board. Probably more than you wanted to know.

Re: Towing with a shackle flip?

I have the same question. Did a search but nothing came up. Cody did you find anything? Also: The ORD web page says the flip kits are for 42 1/2" spring pad centers unless you have a 1 ton. My 3/4 ton has 40 1/2" spring centers, is this a problem? I was looking at kit GU28010.

Re: Towing with a shackle flip?

You will use the GU28010, it's built around the narrower width. There is only a question on the width with the 1-ton in the 2nd gen trucks.
I ran a search on this and came up with a bunch, are you limiting the search somehow? Maybe the wrong date range or something?
