I had to start over and I was ready to just give up,but every one said keep trying. Well I tryed a few diferent ways to do them. They are still in 60 grit form so this isn't the final product but here is a peak..

Check out the lines on these around the edges.

Also here is a peak at my dads, we got it for 1200.00 and I paid 1/2 and gave my dad my 35's and got the new 38's off it, so in total my dad has $900.00 in it including rebuilding the motor. Cheap and fun /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I pick up my axel this friday with it's new gears in it, got the hurculiner to do and then the disk breaks. Then paint that puppy and all that left is bumpers...gee I have nothing to do, I am so board /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Sweet. It looks good. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

They are starting to blend in better, but look like they stick out more than the stock lights and will be easily broken on the trail. Just my $.02 wow, I sounded illiterate when I read that, had to retype

I put Chevy stuff on my toyota but I never thought of putting Toyota stuff on my Chevy! Looks cool!

Well I havent been here very long and dont know the story behind them lights (I'll have to do a search and read up on them) but man, what ever it is your doeing to them, they look real good! I would have never thought of doing that. Nice work, cant wait to see it finished.

hate to say it... but them are some ugly tail lights. LOL!!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif someday when I bob my k5s bed, I'll prolly mount some el-cheapo trailer-style lights like Brian Waddel did on his burb.

This is where my bumpers will come in to help "I hope", Here is my current Ideas for my tail light protection. Also, remember every panel on my truck is bran new so I want to keep my truck strait for at least a little while. /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif But after I wheel with marve..Its all fresh meat for the rocks!

This should protect the lights if I bring it a little higher in the rear. Plus I have a spare set on the way and I am going to try and make a molding out of my current set up so next time it wont be so hard, or I could just bob it after I crunch them /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

if your going to put that much work into that i would try and keep it nice. its lookin good so if you did smash them i would defenetly replace them.

That might help a normal person, but if you plan on wheeling w/ Marve then "Hit it one more time!" A.K.A Rob will be close by. You're screwed, really Rob is a great guy, I should say your tail lights are screwed. You've seen their trucks, right? I would add a post at the corner w/ some braces down to the armor-that might save your hard work. Just giving you a hard time-all in fun /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
