TPI Engine Running on the Stand

Which is comparable to the magnum motor that we were speaking of? Or was that a tbi motor?

The SBC I built for my 93 K1500 GMC has the performance comparable to a Dodge 5.7 Hemi. My boss let me and a co-worker (Dodge Hemi 5.7 pickup) have some fun (drag race) in the company parking lot during a lunch break to settle the debate for everyone to see. I won.:D Some say I might have cheated, because I used 4WD HI. I said, winning is winning.

do you modify the stock harness. just picked up a 94 lt1 out ot a impala ss. wanting to transplant into my 85 k5 with the 700r4

How would 4-Hi be considered cheating, unless the other guy was in 4-Low?

4-Hi is the same as being in 2wd, except that in 4-Hi there is more resistance due to the fact that the front drivetrain is engaged.

Did you guys drag race on ice or dirt, or something with loose traction?

Wheel spin on hot asphalt was the problem for both vehicles ... I used 4WD Hi to eliminate the wheel spin, the other guy didn't have 4WD.:whistle: Some think that it would have been fair if both vehicles had "raced" in 2WD.
