im having trouble keeping the battery charged on my 1980 k20. i am thinking that it could very well be a short or a loose ground. Are there any common connections that are known for shorting or loosening more than others that i can check?? as far as the electric, ive recently replaced a bad starter and both terminals and cables on the battery as well. thanks for any help:waytogo:

Is your altenator keeping battery charged up, do you have a bad cell in battery, check those first, Otherwise with key off, take positive side of battery cable off, then touch lead back to battery, with key off nothing should happen, if it sparks a lil when you touch the battery post with positve cable then you have a short or something drawing power from the bat.
