A while back a CK5er from the Seattle area named Eric (I don't remember his CK5 username) recommended to me a quick release track fastener system for bolting my truck tool box to the floor. At the time I wasn't interested, but now I am.
I want a quickly adjustable fastener track that I can put in the bed of my truck that runs the length of the bed. I'll put it in the low-part of the bed ridges. Ideally, when fastened down, it will squish the carpet down enough so that it does not stick up above the high-part of the bed ridges by very much.
I want to be able to slide my truck toolbox throughout the length of the bed, and tighten it down wherever I'd like, or pop it out altogether quickly.
I've tried googling some stuff, but haven't come up with much.
Any brilliant ideas?
