I've searched this and A LOT of other forums, but NONE of them gives med the exact track width, front and rear, wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface, on a 1990 Suburban V2500 6.2 Diesel 8-lug...
Does anyone in here know?
I need solid evidence to confront my MOT-guy....

Thanks!!

Roy I.

This might help. From ORD

While swapping axles around this spring, we found some stuff we didn't know about and thought we'd pass it on. One big thing is that the change from 8 lug back to 6 lug on our 10 bolt front made the track width a full 2" narrower! The difference is in the wheel bearing hub itself, the 3/4T hub moves the wheel out 1". This helps explain some tire clearance problems we've seen when swapping to 3/4T running gear.
The rear ends seem to be 3" narrower than the frontends pretty consistently, with the exception of the van 1/2T rears, which are 4" wider than a truck 1/2T rear.
Here are some measurements we found:
6 lug 10 bolt front - 67 1/2"
8 lug 10 bolt front - 69 1/2"
1/2T van rear - 68"
14 bolt (10.5) rear - 67"

These are all wheel face to wheel face.

I was looking at an 8 lug 14b SF a couple of months ago. The owner said it came out of a burb. I think the track width was 67-67.5". I assume a V2500 has a 14bSF?
