i have recently acquired a 79 silverado from a friend, but i really want another blazer instead. would anyone be willing to trade for a k5 in similar condition/value?

here's some specs:
400/350/203
12 bolt/10 bolt 3:73s
good 32x11.50s
a/c (non working)
power everything
does need some minor repairs, but its is a good running truck. i have been driving it 30 miles round trip to work and back for the past 2 weeks, and it has yet to fail me. i was goin to put it up for sale for $2000 obo, so i guess id be willing to trade for a k5 in that price range.

pm me if interested, or if you have any ?????'s. im the one driving btw. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I know this is a k5 site so what I'm about to say is going to sound sacreligious, but I would rather have a truck. If someone was to offer me a comparable 69-72 truck for my 70 k5, I would do it.

It's my opinion that you have more options with a truck than a k5 when it comes to building a wheeler.

I'm going to put on my flame retardant pj's now cause I know the flames are coming.

i got 2 blazers, i got an 86 silverado, fully loaded, has a knock, could me small, could be bad, dont know honestly wont for a week or so, and i have my 76, which isnt prety but mechanically very very awesome, wont more for the 76 then the 86 but mgiht be willing to work something out, want an every day drive,r instead of another blazer ill end up droping 6g in to and still not be what iwant

its funny actually... i bought the K5 and now i'm thinking of cutting the rear quarters off and tubing the rear. With a P/U it would be so easy to simply remove the bed.

not hijacking... just bumping.
