Yeah, I think it would have been impulsive. Even my neighbors 72 lemans sport has a 12 bolt rear, I was wondering about that too. I will keep the Blazer, I do "need" to have a 4x4 all the time of course. Some day I will buy a GTO, but what I want is a 70 with ram air and a 4 speed, I just need to wait for the funds and be patient. Later all.
Well GEE a NEWWWWW GTO in 2003!
Well heck we may well have a new GTO soon and no it's not looking like it willl be a Screwed up front driver like the Impalla. It's looking rear drive 5.7 TPI. Just read it in Car and Driver (couldn't find the story online). It'slooks like it's going to be based on a Holden Monaro (Austrailian GM).

I saw the same thing on Tv
I was watching Car and Driver on TV last weekend and they mentioned the Holden Monaro. They said Pontiac was looking at as a platform re introduce the GTO. It outta be a good runner.
