Another Utahn!! You can run lots of trails.lectric80 said:Ok guys, I am considering coming down, even if it is just an overnighter sat and sun, but since I know that the K5 won't be lifted by then...Are there going to be trails that a basically stock K5 on 33's can run? The good times are great, but the point for me is to wheel. I may stay Friday but that will depend on the wife and kids.
fred2mihi said:Hmm now why wouldn't I trust you? Sorry to say but at age 60 I'm still pretty naieve about trails. In 1993 we went down Metal Masher in a stock S-10 and a rental Explorer. I can still remember the rubber that was laid down on some of the boulders.
I never carried so many rocks in my life, if we couldn't have gotten down we would have been stranded. I have a few changes in mind for thumper so maybe I will be better prepared.
I have been studying a couple of books that 70jimmy loaned me. Several trails look intriguing such as Sevenmile Rim
Guess I need to check here more often.
