Trailer paint question???

My dad and a friend built me a trailer. I need to paint it before it rusts. I was looking for Hammerite paint but can't seem to find it anywhere out here in SO. California. I have been to Lowes, Home Depot, Tru-Valu-, and Osh.

What type of paint other than hammerite would you recommend?

a cheap paint can be touched up cheaply... but if you invest in a good epoxy and primer, you should have a good long lasting finish..

Get some decent primer on it (epoxy) and paint will become not as important.... Some rustoleum would probably do you fine over some scuffed, decent primer...
