I have a 16ft. car trailer that I haul my blazer with and with my 44" monster mudders I crushed my fenders on the trailer! Do you have to have fenders on a trailer? Can I cut them off or what? Thanks Oh yeah I live in Michigan if that helps
Welding on some heavy duty fenders as cbbr mentioned is a real good option, or you can make the standard fenders removable or make some wood ramps/blocks so you can drive over the fenders by driving on the blocks (someone here has some pics of this design).
Some states will let you run without fenders on a trailer as long as you have mudflaps. Check the laws of your state to be sure.
The frist trailer I had I made them removable . The trailer I have now , it came that way . On long trips I install them but the rest of the time I leave them off .
