It has been a little over a year since my stuff was stolen and it doesn't look like my 2 newer trailers are going to be recovered. so I am going to upgrade this one. I ordered 5200# axles for it. I have been waffling on whether to get 15" or 16" trailer wheels for it. if I use 15s I can take my tires that are on the trailer and put on new wheels; however I do have a wood deck trailer I have been using to move with that I bought and the tires are cracked on it. I could put tires/wheels on that trailer and sell it for more and then buy 16s so I can use LT tires (@obijuank5 would be proud).
I have a new tongue box, jack, and 5500# winch to put on it also.

I wasn’t trying to do a sales pitch. Just pointing out what I found to be a good option to trailer if he is local enough to drive over.

I ordered axles from the guy that built my last trailer. just need to go pick them up. than I have to come up with new wheels and tires.

@Barrman they have good prices
@centexk5 I have used them before on other stuff

thinking about using these 6 lug Chevy wheels on the trailer

This is my third time viewing this thread. Yet, only this time did my iPad load your first post enough to see you had written something under the pictures. Sorry for seeming to tell you what to do when you already had things in motion. Again, not a sales pitch but that place in Huntsville sells just wheels and tires too. Their prices are why I tell people about them.

their prices are very good. if I had known about them before I ordered axles I might have drove down there and picked some up

Someone doing 16" tires . Go 14ply when you do . Trailer wont trail like a wet sponge behind you . I did it on my super sealer trailer i built from scratch and do not regret it .

And who beat up your brand new bearing cap ?
