My tranny cooler lines on a 78 K5 th350-350 engine has a lot of side play to it near the starter. I know the fuel lines use clips to mount the lines to the frame. How did the tranny lines come from the factory mounted. Mine need some kinda mount because they rub against the engine block support strut mount.

Mine have a small metal clip that attaches to a stud on the oil pan. It is at the very front corner of the oil pan, although it may have been moved when the PO put the engine in. You should see a stud in place of one of the oil pan bolts if it was originally mounted that way and properly assembled throughout it's life, but I wouldn't count on it.

I will crawl under there tomorrow if the weather holds off long enough. It is too dark outside right now to do it.

I'm still hoping for a pic of this item. As is my tranny cooler lines are rubbing against metal.

Sorry about that, the weather here has not been cooperative at all. My driveway is mostly ice, and my garage is filled with the tub, but I will try to get under there tomorrow afternoon and take a shot or two.
