Tranny crosmember build idea

Hey guys im kind of fighting clearance issues with my tc and want to see what would i need to know for this job, besides good meassurements and material.

Does it have any counter affects overall, would i have to change the engine supports as well ( someone told me this, because something could get broken )


Or can i just add a something between bushing and tc support to add some height to it?

I think what you were told was referring to the bushings that you use. They all have to be the same. For some reason I can't think if the word I'm looking for. but someone will say it.

If you go from rubber to poly bushings, you should replace both engine mounts and the trans/t-case mount with poly - not just one or the other.

If you are looking to make more room under the t-case you want to clock (rotate) the front output up, not raise the whole thing, generally.
