my truck was stuck in the mud awhile back i got it out and found out where it was leaking fluid from, right where the vac mod plugs in, i pulled it off and this little shaft came out of the hole, whats my problem? thanks

That shiny "pin" is the modulator valve--it goes into the tranny case first,then the vacuum modulator goes in after that(there is a spring in the :hole: it goes into)--a "fork" looking thing with one bolt holds in the both of them onto the tranny..you might have lost the fork or the bolt and they fell out..that'll spoil a day fast....
