tranny mating Q

Will a sm465 mate to a 6.5L?
Will a th350 mate to a 6.5L?

Just considering my options. Don't want to use a 700r4 if I don't have to and I might not be able to afford a nv4500 by the time this is all said and done. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Physically, yes - but not a factory offering. Not sure if there will be an issue with torque converter stall speed and/or lockup (if so equipped).

TH400 is the auto that most 3/4's and all 1-tons got. (4L80E from 91-onward.)

sorry but could you elaborate on the torque converter stall speed/lock up bit for me. I'm not to educated on this kind of stuff but I am out to learn /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Oh and does that mean the th400 would bolt up no problem?
