tranny or gears

Should I figure out how to pay for my 700r4 being rebuilt, or spend a weekend doing my ring/pinion. Running 33" w/3.73 lots of hills and trailer w/quads. Tranny just starting to slip and "shudder" from a stop.

Rebuild the tranny. If you dont, its gonna leave you in the middle of one of those hills and that would suck! Once rebuilt, just keep it in drive when towing or anything. Then as soon as you can afford it, just up to 4.56 or lower gears if you plan on getting bigger tires anytime in the future /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

do the tranny first those new gears are not going to do you any good if the tranny goes out /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif
