Tranny output shaft.

Does anyone have the length measurement on the output shaft on a TH350 4x4 with a np208 transfer case. Vehicle is an 81 K5 blazer.

I'm ordering a transmission from monster and need to know this measurement. Truck is still a daily driver so I haven't tore it apart yet.

I believe it's the 7" shaft.
The 2wd is slightly longer at 9"
The 203 and 205 is much shorter at I believe 2"

Does a 14 1/2" Sound like it? Normal 4wd is 9 5/8 the only other option for that transmissin is 14 1/4 for model years 80 to 84.

I measure 14 1/8th inches end to end. Your trans builder should know this...

Problem is my trans builder has no more shafts in stock. And no one knew without me pulling mine apart. Couldn't do that being its my daily driver.

That sounds about right, but I agree with Greg, they should know this if they are serious rebuilders.
