Tranny pan is killing me

NO LEAKS!!!!

Used the high tack, torqued to 12ft lbs. I filled the pig up, drove it around, let it completely cool down and retorqued them. They didn't loosen at all. I'm going to check them again tomorrow after going to and from work.

This board makes me feel like I know what I am doing.

BTW sickquad, if you ever need to clean off the High Tack, a little carb cleaner and it will whip right off.

I sure did!--I have bare steel floors in my 74 K20 plow truck,and I was tired of the rubber mat always sliding up under the gas and brake pedal,or falling on the ground when I got out.One day at the parts store,I read on a can of the brush on "High Tack" it said you could use it on rubber floor mats--SOLD!--I took it home and slathered it on,it didnt move for over 2 years,until I had to literally chisel it off with a putty knife,and lots of carb cleaner to fix the body mount bolts(again!).It works great on most all gaskets,and it kept my loose radio knobs from falling on the floor too! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
