tranny question

My 88 suburban has 97000 orig miles 1/2 tom 350/700r4. the tranny is starting to take a while to engage between R and D and vise-versa. Its not as bad from P to D. Fluid is pretty new and full. Any ideas?

i had a t-350 that did that. it will get worse, & the only fix is a rebuild. i believe it is a frt pump problem.
