tranny slipping

i got an 88 s10 blazer with a 2.8 700r4 tranny its starting to slip when it shifts into overdrive so i was wonder if a fluid and filter change would help i aint much exprience with autos thanks for the help guys

Trans is done, once they start to slip in OD they don't last very long, save the time and money on the trans service and save up for a new trans. Besides the fresh fluid will probably make it worse.

i wonder how hard it is to find a 700r4 for a 2.8 im thinking of just swaping in a v8
