Tranny Swap Q's

Alright, Here is my situation. I am moving over 1600 miles and need a good tow rig to pull my blazer. I have a 96 Yukon and a 95 2500(LD) sierra. Obviously the 2500 would be the best bet for a tow rig, but I enjoy the storage/seating of an SUV.
How hard would it be to :
1.) Swap the nv4500 into my yukon to replace the 4L60E
2.) swap in a SM645 to replace the 4500 in the sierra so I can sell it?

I know that there are other similar posts on this, but I am always looking for more information, help and ideas.

I would sell the yukon, but the tranny is starting to slip at 45 MPH, so I don't think I could get too much for it.

There was a thread on this exact swap (well, into a 97ish K1500) not too long ago. I think the guy's name is GrnChevy or something like that. Search this forum for 4L80E.
