Sorry, I just gotta vent to folks who understand the greif that can be caused by an undertaking such as this, and I havent even come close to what some of you have been able to do!
I'm dumping the 700 in my wifes Burb for a 465 and thought I had all the kinks worked out after doing the same to my Burb over a year and a half ago. Well, the bellcrank has given me the most fits as I'm cheap and didnt get the one for my year of Burb and instead bought one for an older truck. Well now I cant get it to work and I'll have to buy the other one anyways.
This was after I spent half a day lining up the tranny, checking clearances and ensuring proper driveline angles only to snag one of the straps I was using to hold up the crossmember and have the whole thing come out of the truck.

My wife has been very patient and I have to thank her for that. She is reluctant to drive my truck, but she will when she needs to. I've got five days into this and still have at least three to finish the drivetrain and clean up the interior that was stripped to make room for cutting of floors and adding more insulation under the carpet. I love wrenching on my stuff, but this is getting frustrating and drawn out. And my wife wants her truck and her freedom back.

It's easy to get discouraged. I haven't touched my '90 Suburban in 8 mos. My kids now use it for a clubhouse.

:haha: :haha: :haha:

I guess it could be worse, it's just the last one was my guinea pig, so I thought this one would go smoother.
