Has anyone taken a automatic cab (whether truck or blazer) and turned it into a standard tranny cab? I'm debating keeping the 465/205 combo I have and putting it in the S10. But the extended cab truck I have now currently has the 4spd auto. What am I looking at for mod's?

I converted my automatic blazer body into a manual blazer body by cutting a hole. For the shifter.

I figured the floor would be the easy part for the shifters, I was wondering more about the firewall for the clutch pedal and rod. How much modd'ing will need to be done there.

It's all bolt-in. You'll have to drill a few holes, but there isn't really any fab work I had to do. Only thing I had to make was the z-bar bracket.

I have a complete 465/205 from a full size truck. Came with crossmember, bellhousing, frame bracket for the linkage, pedals, basically everything to swap over into my old 75 suburban. Now I'm thinking of putting the 465/205 into the S10 the same time I so an SAS. Trying to gather up as much info as possible.

that would be hot... i dont think you'll have any clearance issues as the s-cab is shallower than a fullsize...
