I may be getting a 75 Blazer and it has the three on the tree tranny. Is there anything I should be aware of when changing it to an SM465? I don't know what transfer case is in it hoping for a 205 but probably gonna get a 203.

I have the bell housing for the sm465 but was wondering if the clutch linkage was the same. Is this a direct bolt on or will other things need to be modified?

Thanks in advance

The NP203 was used behind SM465's (rarely) in 1974 and '75. Other than that rare application, I believe Chevrolet only used the NP203 behind automatics. Some one please correct me if I am wrong.

I have never drove a 3 on the tree manual tranny so im sure its gonna be fun:haha:

I don't even know what that what they call the 3 speed tranny

The 3 speed was either a Saginaw or a Tremec 3-speed. Your clutch linkage should be the same IIRC.

That would be cool if it was the same linkage, I heard the bell housing was a little different, although ill wait for someone to chime in on that. I can't wait to go and see this freakin' thing my 73's in pieces and I miss it.
