Tranny/T-case adaptor seals

Gettin ready to do the tranny swap in the next week or so. Is there a seal between the tranny and adaptor and the T-case? Can I just get these at AZ or some other store? Also what about special bolts with O-rings can I just use the old ones if they look OK? 700 to 350 by the way.

Any certain brands I should get with these seals?

i pulled my 241 and the guys at JB Conversions said all it takes is RTV. I did that and it doesnt leak /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

OK just wondering since the adaptor had a cardboard type gasket on one side of it when I recieved it.

Just rebuilt the tranny and t/case on my '78 (350 to 203) and there was a quad seal (square section o ring) between the tranny and the adapter plate /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

cool where did you get the seal?

I got my square (profile) o ring from the dealership. $2 part.
