Tranny/T-case compatability

I'm looking into buying a 700r4 out of a '85 Chevy 1/2ton. I have a 91 Blazer (K5) with a 350, and a np241 T-case, and I was wondering if the 700r4 outta the '85 would bolt right into my '91. Do all 1/2tons that year have np208s, or just the K5s. Would the tranny be compatible with my np241?

My 88 burban has a 700R4 with a 208 and my 90 Blzer had a 700R4 with a 241? My buddies 82 had a TH350 woth a 208. Seems common to me

Is your burban 1/2 or 3/4ton? I know that they are a fairly common tranny, but would one from a 85(presumably with a 208t-case) fit into a 91(241 t-case)?

all the out puts for the 700r4 are the same. so yea your 241 would bolt up to were a 208 was.
