tranny trouble?

i have a 700 tranny and for some reason going into 3rd it likes to rev up a little like i slipped a clutch then drop into gear instead of just shifting as usual, is it on its way out? or something simpler? im lost

dont really know it could be starting to go out. how does all the other gears shift ? could be something simple like the TV CABLE neeeds to be adjusted .

ya 1st and 2nd go fine, just going into 3rd it does that slipping thing, and not all the time. id say half the time it slips into 3rd
