tranny woes

well i pulled the 700r4 tranny out, had a mechanic replace
every seal in the front of including the bushing , and its
still leaking from up somewhere inside the bellhousing area
either from the torque converter or the housing.
anyone ever had this problem ?
is the case itself cracked ?
is the torque converter cracked?
it doesnt leak straight down form the shaft, the leak
kinda runs down each side of inside the bell housing area
right in the middle like as if the converter os throwing it.

Earlier 700r4s were bad about blowing the front seal. There is a clip that helps hold the seal in. If you take off the pump you should enlarge the oil drain hole behind the seal (get a pro to do it). You could also have a burr or something where the pump mounts.
