I need to know if I can swap from a 700r4 in my 90 blazer to a turbo 350 from a 81 they are both lockup style the ? is the 700r4 has 3 wires on the drivers side and the 350 has 2 how do I hook the 350 2 wire up

The trannies are different lengths (the 350 is shorter) so you're going to have to change your crossmember location and your driveshafts too possibly.

Why not just replace the 700? It is a better trans for off-road use, and overdrive is nice to have on long trips.

the length is not the problem I have all that solved its just which wires to connect the reason I am doing it this way is because its my brothers and he has no money and these are the parts I have laying around
