Trannys?

Hey everyone I am new to chevrolet trucks and wanted to know about the trannys. Which trannys would be the best all around I know thier is alot of opinions but like ford the C6 I have always thought of the king of automatics for Ford but I I have always heard 400 turbo for Chevrolet but I got a 700r4 in my Blazer and wanted to know if it was a good built tranny?

its alright...low 1st gear and OD. but...you just gotta get hte tv cable adjusted right...and keep it COOL. or itll fry itself.

throttle variatoin cable...it controls teh kickdown adn partially the shift.

forgot to add. that its got a lockup converter...so if you tow. put it in D.
