Trans cooler line

So as I can remember, I used hardline for my trans cooler and wrapped hose around the hard line where it may rub against frame or return line. That should be fine right? Was gonna run braided teflon but I figure I could save some money by making my own hard line.
 
I prefer metal over rubber for trans cooler lines...best stuff is the nickel/copper tubing that cant rust...metal also helps dissapate the heat more too,the lines themselves act as a cooler,while rubber or teflon insulates it..
You can put rubber hose of that spiral wire loom stuff over the metal lines if they run near places they may chafe on...

Should be fine. Besides rubbing, vibration is your worst enemy. Make sure they are secured down the length of the tubing
