got another problem with the K5. I thought this whole time that I had a tranny cooler but it turnd out that it is an oil cooler up front, so now I need to put a tranny cooler in but where do i put it. If I put it up front I will almost have my whole radiator blocked any suggestions or fabrications for this will help.

On my Burb I have an oil cooler and tranny cooler in front of the radiator.. Plus the condencor and it stays cool.

my truck's not dirty, it's earth tone paint

problem with doing that is that my blazer already runs on the warm side around 210 but I have the radiator out now and i am cleaning it and flushing the system. I may do it any way and see what it does but if there are any more suggestions before i do this please let me know

I installed a GM kit designed for 88-up pickups, but which uses the same big cooler that you have now for oil. No problems cooling, but read below about radiator and fan clutch.

I also upgraded to a 4 row radiator last summer when my Burb was running warm. Check your fan clutch. If it's shot, you won't get the cooling. I replaced mine, as well.

you also might want to consider taking it to a radiator shop and having them boil it out. it usually costs between $35 - $70, but it is well worth the investment.
