Hey guys I'm in search of the orange needle trans gear indicator. Let me know if you've got an extra you wanna part with, or know where I can track one down....local PNP is out :(

How much for just the indicator and string...I have the "numbers/letters" part...

Thanks!
The whole thing in one piece, I have no use for any of it without the needle, common.:D
If you still have the string the other one is $5 cheaper.

I don't think that one is right for his 700r4. Looks more like a 3 speed trans.

I'll get a picture of mine. Don't need it anymore with the DIY4x dash. I would also ask $20.

the needle is the same, and he says he still has the plate with numbers.
The only reason I won't seperate is that people alway break the needle, I have a few of those already.

OK, I don't know how to look up email addresses or phone numbers on this forum (I'm fully computarded), but I thought this would be a good way for me to give a little back to the brotherhood. I have done everything that's been done to my K5 armed only with the information I've gotten from you all.

That being the case, I have a DIY4X dash going in mine, and so the indicator you need is laying in my garage. Give me a few minutes and I'll post a pic up to make sure it's definitely the one you need. If it is, you can have it. Just tell me where to send it. (I have a '90 with a 700R4)

You all are a good bunch o folks, and while it isn't much, it is some small way to say thanks for sharing your collective knowledge with everyone for the benefit of our K5 hobby.

Pic up in a bit.

Aaron, that's the one! I can cover shipping, just let me know your PayPal or I can send via snail mail as well. Also, to pay it forward (or back as the case may be) I cand send someone an interior spare tire carrier for the cost of shipping.

Sorry for not getting back to ya yesterday...was edging the yard in the am and took a piece of rock to my right eye. Awesomeness...luckily only a corneal abrasion and nothing major...and yes I was wearing my safety glasses! :)

Sorry to hear about your eye. That sucks, but glad to hear it wasn't worse.

As for this part you need, I'm not sure what you'd need as far as my PayPal (told you-I'm useless at this stuff), but for no bigger than it is, the shipping can't be much, so I'm not worried about it. Just let me know where to send it and I'll get it in the mail to you sometime this week.

I figure it's the least I can do to pay it forward for all the wiring questions I'm about to have with this dash and the gauges, so it will all work out. I'll wait to hear from you on the address. Take care.
