Trans help

Ok ive been putting this off for about 6 months now but im finally ready to deal with it.... I am buying a new trans this week and would like some feedback. What i have... 85 K5 350/th350/208. The rig came with a 700r4 from the factory so the trans has already been changed once. I already have the old th350 and 208 pulled and was thinking i would go ahead and swap in a 205 and th400 since i already have it out. So i guess my question is what kind of problems am i going to face? will i need any kind of converter plates or whatever? will it be worth the hassle? or should i just buy a th350 and put it all back together and drive it like i stole it?

if the 400 is still good i would go with that.its stronger with the same gearing.there is a couple of inches difference in length between that and the 350,so mounting points and d-shafts need to be changed for your setup(at least the rear,front may be fine).205 would be pretty much bulletproof though and the stronger tranny wouldnt hurt either.
