trans linkage wont adjust

i got a old junk 93 SFA s10. the metal bar linkage was fine when i got the truck but now the body is all jacked up and moving around and i cant get it adjusted right. if it move it a hair one way, it wont go into park, if i move it a hair the other way itll barely go into park and barely go into first, but it will keep poping out of first with the body moving around. so right now i have it so i have no park but first works i just have to make sure im in a hole or against a tree when i get out

just wondeing is there some kinda cheep fix for this without having to spend a few hundred on a floor shifter?

I had an old s-10 blazer that did that also, the body mounts were rusted away. I put a 2x4 right on the frame where it met the bottom of the body and it helped that problem. A little rtv silicone on the wood held it in. It's a bogus way but it worked.

yeah the parts with the body mounts are gone but still there. so id have to cut away the sides. i did the 2x4 thing on another s10 i had and the floor eventually smashed around the wood
