trans-pan skid plate

do you go off road much ? I do mostly street got the deeper pan allows for more fluid to be added.

I don't know anything about the product. Surprised there's no product reviews on summit. Tried googling it to see if other forums had threads about it. Price wise, $50 for a run of the mill pan. I quickly looked up other vendors and the $125 from summit was the cheapest, saw 134 and 170 elsewhere.

I'd say go for it :dunno:

I think you would be better off with an aluminum pan, especially if you are having leak issues. It appears this chrome unit is more suited to lowered Impala types creeping over speed bumps.

Ill second the aluminum pan. If you are wheeling hard enough to be smacking the tranny pan on stuff you really need a separate skid plate. I could see a skid built into the pan leading to cracked tranny cases.

This. Go aluminum, and add a skid plate of your own, if needed.
