I'm picking up a 1980 k5, and the first thing I need to do is change all of the fluids. What should I put in the following, and do you have an idea of each of there capacities? I'm not going to run synthetic fluids in this truck. Thanks!

4 speed manual?
NP205 T case?
Dana 44 Front axle?
Eaton HO52 rear axle?

All of those will take 80W-90.

Each of them will take roughly a gallon other than the D44 front which will be a bit less. I'd look for a good place to get a 5 gallon bucket of 80W-90.

My personal preference is Red Line synthetic; they hav 75W90 which I've been using for a while now with no problems.

The only problem is that it's the same price for a quart of that, as a gallon of standard gear oil at Wal-Mart! Let your wallet decide...
