I am putting a fresh 700r4 in my k5 and was wondering where is the best place to mount the temp sender so i can have a idea of how hot it is running thanks Denny

You can buy a B&M bolt in kit. Just drill a hole in the pan and put the bolt in with the nut in the pan. Comes with rubber washers to seal it. Or you can drill and weld the nut like you were going to. I have an aluminum pan so I drilled and tapped in the center rear of the pan. Make sure you check for clearence in and out of the pan.
