Trans & Transfer Case

I picked up a TH400 trans. Will my 208 transfer case bolt right up to the trans? Do I need any additional parts to install these parts?

TH400 to a NP208?

Will a TH400 bolt up to a 208 transfer case? If not, is there an adapter I can get or do I need a different transfer case? It has a 700-R4 now but it not in good shape. Thinking this summer of putting a big block in my Blazer and heard the 700-R4 wont hold up very long. ( also have a friend...

the th400 is 32 spline out put and the 700r4 is 27 spline

400 had 3 different output lengths, one for 203, one for early 205, and one for 208/241 and late slip yoke 205.

Stop, game over.

The tailshaft for a 400 from a 203 is unique to that combo ONLY because it is extremely short compared to other combos. It will not fit any other tcase with / without adapter kits.
