If I wanted to swap out my np208 for a np241 what would I need other than the adaptor and crossmember? I have a 81 sub with a 350 motor, th350 trans , and a np208 currently. Any help would be great THANKS.

From what i gather the 241 comes out on the drivers side towards the front end as the 208 is on the passenger side. I might be totally wrong though. I'm still all new to it myself
there are both pass and driver 241's. For using a pass 241(older chevy) i know the adapter is the same for the 208 and 241 mated to a 700r4, but you have a th350, i imagine everything still bolting up as long as you have a pass drop np241 with a 27 spline input and the crossmember from the truck the 241 came out of.

You will need a np241 from a late 88 or 89 k-5 or suburban. Those have a mechanical speedo. 90-91 will have an electronic speedo. Unless you don't need a speedometer than you could use any of the pass-side drop np241's
