I am sure sweet k30 will chime in :D

Pretty sure his is the post with pictures, but I'll be darned if I can find it!

1/2 and 3/4 ton use same hight . and early years had rivited on extra support ear's to top of frame rails also.

and 1 ton all its own as frame is 2" taller. so its almost flat.

203 and 205 use same member. since 1 mount hole is most of the time sloted for bolt spacing of mount. and i think early tall adaptor 208 used same also.

85-up went W members some single hump or doubble hump.

and no it wasnt me with pic thread it was ( thatk30guy ) . also search the garage section. and i think his thread also had skid plate styles .

The crossmember isn't dependent on the t-case.

As mentioned, the big splits are 67-84 and 85-87 ('91), with the early style being generally "U" shaped the the late ones being "W" shaped. The t-case mount style changed at the same time.

Again, as mentioned, the 1/2 and 3/4 ton crossmembers are the same but the 1 ton crossmembers are flatter because the 1 ton frame is taller.

Thanks guys for the replies...ill do some more searching for the pics

You want to search for skid plates it has the cross members with it.
