I have just bought an 89 GMC Jimmy that has been lifted 6 inches with 35 inch tires and 1 inch trans case drop. I am experiencing some vibration at around 60 mph when I let off of throttle, this is the only vibration I notice. My question is can the T case be dropped safely more than 1 inch?

I wouldnt go any lower...it puts extra strain on the motor mounts to have the engine angled too much.

Anymore than that you might shove the distributor into the firewall. I wonder if you could bevel the spacers to angle them back a little more than usual tho?! Like maybe 3/4" in the front and 1" in the back. Justa thought.

I would have your driveshaft balance check and if you don't have a cv joint in it it may be time to upgrade.
