So i thought that this truck (98 K3500) came with a 4L80E/NP241 combo but crawling around underneath i found this.

Looks like a Borg Warner 4401?

Are they any good?

Is the low range ratio similar to a 241?

not as popular but never herd of one braking easy . if i recall they have a pto port option not sure tho . dont think there is a lot of aftermarket stuff out there for them .

Very not bad. Thay are almost worthless because they dont really go bad or break. Not sure why more people dont use em either.
