I just picked up a blazer chassis w/ a 12bolt rear, and dana 44 front axle. I am not sure of what the transfer case in it is. I'm pretty sure it is a 74 blazer chassis, but there is no garauntee the t-case is original, it used to have a 66 chevelle frame and body on the blazer chassis. It is a divorced transfer case, and i was thinking it is an NP205, but it looks odd, it doesnt have the large cast aluminum covers for the gears on the one side. Here a couple pics, one of each side.

Thanks for any help, these axles will be going under my 87 Shortbox this winter, along with the Pro Flo MPFI 400 small block i had put together for it, i am excited! Hopefully this t-case is worth using. The lever off the front only seems to have 2 positions, engaged and disengaged, but i may be missing something. If i can get it ID'd we'll go from there.

did you post this in the garage as well? Thought it ended up being a rockwell of some sorts. Crazy design as there is no straight drive through to the rear output. You can see its output is on a shaft below the input. Must be noisy as h*ll when running.

Rockwell T-221, I believe. They were available mated to the SM420 and SM465 in the GM's, but were used divorced in the oddball conversions like Int'l 1.25 and 1.5 ton trucks.

I am near Oneonta and Binghamton in Upstate NY, i did also post this up in the garage also, but i think it was deleted. It is a Rockwell t221 from what i was told, and i dont think i will be using it as it is noisy, hard to get parts for and i am not sure if it has a selectable hi/lo/2/4 range as there only seems to be 2 positions of engagement on it. Thanks for the help, i will probably sell this or keep it in case i build something i can use it in someday.
