Transfer case problem

I've got a '90 blazer...so i believe it has a 241 transfer case. It snowed today and had to use 4hi and everytime i would come to a stop it would fall out of 4hi back into 2hi. I recently lifted it and had to lower the transfer case so this is the first time this problem has come up. Does it have something to do with loose linkage? thanks for any help

Adjust your linkage.
