transfer case questions after swap

I swapped a NP 241 vss into a 88 K5 with a mechanical NP 208. What things do i need, besides a new cluster, to make the electric 241 work in my truck? My plan later on down the road was to replace all the gauges with aftermarket style and maybe, funds permitting, a DIY4X dash. is there anything i can do to make it work in the meantime? I'm pretty sure my truck does not have the speedo wiring in the harness. Thank you!

You need the DRAC module, which is the buffer in between the VSS sender and the speedometer.
I suggest getting one that has been modified with switches to make recalibration easy.

If you can't find the cluster or DRAC locally, post up in the wanted section.
I have a cluster and module that I would sell, but others may also.

@4X4HIGH has done a writeup in the past with pin out wiring and were they go for swaps like this .

aftermarket gauges don't need drac unit tho.
