transfer case shifter boot?

I changed from the 208 to the 205 transfer case and the shifter boot will not work for the 205 shifter(shift pattern is too long).I looked at LMC and found a couple http://http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cc/0051.asp . Wich one should I use or do you have other suggestions other than the rag wrapped around it for now?
I also am using a 2-wheel drive cab that I just cut the floor for the 208 and not sure if the stock 205 boot would require modification

you should be able to make something work for cheap and look real nice if you pick up a universal boot at the hardware store. originally i had a 700r4/np208 and swapped in a 465/np205 - which is significantly shorter. granted, mine was 4wd to begin with, but the stock hole was sufficient in size, but you're right that you can't use the same boot/indicator box. i don't have an indicator now - i just know what gear it's in.
