Transfer Case Skid Plate

My transfer case is sitting on the skid plate...is this bad?

It is connected to the torque mounts, but touching the skid plate.

Sounds like either your transfer case mounts (between the tcase and crossmember) are shot or your skid plate is bent.

My skid plate bent and after awhile it rubbed into my np-241 t-case. Had to use some JB weld to patch it up.

They shouldn't be touching for sure. As mentioned, bent skid plate (take it out and bend it back) or worn trans mounts.
